Your Role

As a Team Leader, you will:

  • Lead by Example: Motivate and support your team to provide the highest standards of care.
  • Develop Staff: Mentor and develop team members, helping them to grow professionally and deliver the best outcomes for the children.
  • Ensure Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all care practices meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Build Relationships: Foster positive relationships with children, their families, and external agencies, ensuring that every child’s voice is heard and respected.

About You

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • Essential: Full UK Driving License (Manual).
  • Essential: Minimum 2 years of experience in Residential Childcare, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Desirable: Level 3/4 NVQ or Diploma in Residential Childcare, or a commitment to work towards it (fully funded by de novo care).
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle complex situations with empathy.
