Treo Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of an award-winning, modern British restaurant & bar in Doncaster to recruit an experienced and driven Sous Chef.

The Role

As Sous Chef, you will:

  • Support the Head Chef in delivering rosette-standard dishes
  • Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
  • Ensure smooth, organised and efficient service
  • Support ordering, stock control and GP management
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the brigade
  • Maintain high food hygiene and health & safety standards

This is a hands-on role in a professional but supportive environment where standards matter and teamwork is everything.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience operating to a rosette (or equivalent high-quality) standard
  • Is organised, efficient and calm under pressure
  • Takes pride in consistency and presentation
  • Has strong leadership skills and enjoys developing others
  • Understands fresh, seasonal cooking
  • Is commercially aware and mindful of waste and margins
  • Thrives in a busy but structured kitchen environment
