Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Service
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £46,000 – £50,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Treo Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-established, child-focused care provider in their search for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed children’s residential service in High Wycombe.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Registered Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll be joining an organisation with an open, inclusive culture, where staff are valued, supported, and empowered to deliver outstanding care.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it meets all regulatory requirements and provides a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children and young people.
You’ll lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated team, promoting a culture of high standards, compassion, and continuous improvement. Working closely with Ofsted, local authorities, and other professionals, you’ll ensure the home delivers exceptional outcomes and genuine impact for every child in your care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the effective management of the home in line with Ofsted regulations and organisational policies.
- Ensure children receive the highest quality of care and support to achieve positive outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver person-centred care.
- Maintain compliance with all safeguarding, quality, and health & safety standards.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to ensure smooth, effective operations.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, families, and professionals.
- Drive continuous improvement and prepare for Ofsted inspections.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Proven experience working within children’s residential care.
- A solid understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire others.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
- Ability to lead by example, maintain professionalism, and uphold organisational values.
