Inspire Young People Through Sport & Education

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Premier League Primary Stars Coordinator to join our Schools & Community Programme team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about primary education, PE and school sport to make a genuine difference in young people’s lives through the power of sport and physical activity.

You will deliver engaging PE, PSHE, literacy and numeracy sessions across partner primary schools, support teachers through CPD and mentoring, and help coordinate exciting school sport events and enrichment programmes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing pupils’ confidence, wellbeing and physical activity levels while helping schools enhance their PE and wider school sport provision.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme Delivery

  • Deliver high-quality PE and school sport sessions within primary schools
  • Deliver engaging activities linked to:
  • PSHE
  • Literacy
  • Numeracy
  • Physical activity
  • Deliver extra-curricular clubs, workshops, assemblies and competitions
  • Adapt sessions for different ages, abilities and SEND pupils
  • Ensure delivery aligns with the PE National Curriculum and OFSTED expectations

School Relationships

  • Build positive relationships with Headteachers, PE Leads and teaching staff
  • Act as a key contact for partner schools
  • Support wider school enrichment and transition programmes

Teacher Development & CPD

  • Deliver CPD workshops and mentoring to teaching staff
  • Support schools to improve confidence in PE and physical activity delivery

Events & Programme Coordination

  • Coordinate delivery across multiple schools
  • Support the organisation of:
  • Sports festivals
  • Tournaments
  • Competitions
  • Social action projects

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Record participation and programme data accurately
  • Complete impact reports, evaluations and case studies
  • Use monitoring systems such as Salesforce where required

Safeguarding

  • Maintain high safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times
  • Promote the welfare and wellbeing of children and young people

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with primary-aged children
  • Strong understanding of PE and school sport environments
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young people
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 coaching qualification or equivalent, such as:
  • UEFA B Licence or equivalent

Desirable

  • Teaching, coaching or youth work background
  • Experience delivering Premier League Primary Stars programmes
  • Experience delivering PSHE, literacy or numeracy interventions
  • First Aid qualification
  • Safeguarding certification
