Job Description:
Virtue Health Services Ltd an award winning care provider is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to help lead our nurturing, values-led children’s home supporting young people with Autism, Learning Disabilities and complex needs.
What you’ll do:
• Support the Registered Manager in daily operations
• Lead safeguarding and risk management
• Supervise and develop staff
• Oversee rotas and ensure safe staffing
• Maintain high-quality, child-centred care
• Support audits, care planning and Ofsted/Reg 44 readiness
What you’ll need:
• 2+ years in an Ofsted-registered children’s home (Senior/Team Leader/Deputy)
• Strong safeguarding knowledge
• Experience supporting children with ASD, LD and complex needs
• Confidence leading teams and challenging poor practice
• Level 3 Residential Childcare (essential)
Desirable: Level 4/5, DSL experience, electronic care system knowledge.
