Commercial Cleaner & General Maintenance Operative

Location: Doncaster
Hours: Flexible – 30 to 37.5 hours per week
Pay: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour
Contract: Permanent

Treo Recruitment is working on behalf of a valued client to recruit a reliable, hands-on Commercial Cleaner & General Maintenance Operative. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable supporting both high standards of cleanliness and the general upkeep of a commercial site.

With flexible start and finish times, this position offers consistency while allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities Commercial Cleaning

• Cleaning offices, communal areas, kitchens and washrooms
• Vacuuming, mopping and general floor care
• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
• Dusting, wiping surfaces and high-touch point cleaning
• Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and presentation at all times

General Maintenance & Site Support

• Litter picking and maintaining external areas
• Assisting with minor maintenance tasks, including touching up emulsion paint
• Supporting the landlord or site manager with day-to-day upkeep
• Identifying, reporting and escalating maintenance or health & safety issues
• Taking pride in the overall appearance and functionality of the site

About You

• Holds a full UK driving licence
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities support
• Practical, proactive and comfortable with minor maintenance tasks
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment
