This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding hotel business that is continuing to invest in its people, facilities and guest experience. Working closely with the Deputy General Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the food and beverage operation and driving service excellence across the hotel.

The Opportunity

As Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel’s restaurant, bar, weddings, conferences and events, ensuring guests receive a consistently high-quality experience.

This is a hands-on management role offering the opportunity to influence service standards, develop your team and play an integral part in the hotel’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading, motivating and developing the Food & Beverage team
  • Managing the daily operation of the restaurant, bar and hospitality areas
  • Overseeing weddings, private functions, conferences and events
  • Delivering consistently high standards of customer service
  • Creating staff rotas and managing labour costs effectively
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing team members
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction and resolving issues professionally
  • Managing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
  • Supporting departmental budgets and revenue targets
  • Driving food and beverage sales through promotions and upselling opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, allergen management, licensing legislation and Health & Safety requirements
  • Working closely with the Kitchen, Reception, Housekeeping and Events teams
  • Supporting the Deputy General Manager with the wider operation when required

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar leadership role
  • Is a confident and inspirational leader who enjoys developing people
  • Has experience managing busy restaurant, bar and events operations
  • Has worked within hotels, hospitality venues or high-quality event environments
  • Has experience delivering weddings, banqueting, conferences or large-scale events
  • Is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Has a strong understanding of labour management, stock control, budgeting and commercial performance
  • Is organised, proactive and calm under pressure
  • Has a good knowledge of food safety, licensing legislation and health & safety
  • Is flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required
