Treo Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a residential childcare provider in Southport to recruit passionate and committed Residential Support Workers.

The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of children and young people within the home.
You will help create a safe, supportive and stable environment while promoting positive behaviour, independence and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times
- Support young people with daily routines, structure and boundaries
- Build positive and professional relationships with young people
- Act as a positive role model within the home
- Deliver key work sessions and direct support
- Support leisure activities, education and personal development
- Work alongside colleagues, families and external professionals
- Complete reports, records and documentation accurately
- Participate in team meetings, supervision and training
- Support the home in maintaining high safeguarding and care standards
- Fulfil sleep-in duties as part of the rota

Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work shifts and sleep-ins
- Commitment to safeguarding and care standards
Desirable
- Experience working with children and young people
- Residential childcare experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
- Background in care, youth work, education or support work
