Treo Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of an award-winning, modern British restaurant & bar in Doncaster to recruit an experienced and driven Sous Chef.

With over 120 wines by the glass, regularly changing guest ales, and a loyal customer base who value both quality and generosity, this is a kitchen that operates to high standards and takes real pride in its craft.
The Role
As Sous Chef, you will:
- Support the Head Chef in delivering rosette-standard dishes
- Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
- Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Ensure smooth, organised and efficient service
- Support ordering, stock control and GP management
- Mentor and develop junior members of the brigade
- Maintain high food hygiene and health & safety standards
This is a hands-on role in a professional but supportive environment where standards matter and teamwork is everything.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience operating to a rosette (or equivalent high-quality) standard
- Is organised, efficient and calm under pressure
- Takes pride in consistency and presentation
- Has strong leadership skills and enjoys developing others
- Understands fresh, seasonal cooking
- Is commercially aware and mindful of waste and margins
- Thrives in a busy but structured kitchen environment
