About the Company
Our client delivers specialist fire suppression and water infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland, providing engineered, compliant installations with a focus on quality, safety, and precision.
They are now looking to strengthen their operational team with experienced High Pressure Water Mains Layers, capable of working to exacting standards on critical systems.
The Role
Working as part of a small, skilled team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Laying and jointing high-pressure water mains and associated pipework
- Working to engineering drawings and project specifications
- Trenching, saw cutting, and reinstating soft and hard landscapes
- Operating excavators and plant safely and efficiently
- Ensuring quality, compliance, and health & safety standards at all times
This is a technically demanding and rewarding role, ideal for operatives who thrive on detail and high standards.
About You
You’ll bring strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently or as part of a small gang, ensuring safe and compliant installations every time.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience working on high-pressure water mains
- L2 NCO (Water) – Mains Laying or equivalent
- Excavator (above & below 10T) with lifting ops
- Dumper and Roller certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and work away (including Ireland)
Desirable
- Confined Spaces certification
- SHEA Water card
- Strong understanding of reinstatement (concrete, tarmac, soft)
