Job Description: Painter and Decorator

We are working on behalf of a well-established client at a busy site in Spalding, requiring an experienced Painter & Decorator to support a short-term refurbishment project. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable tradesperson to get involved in ongoing site works, with potential for an extended contract based on performance and site requirements.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will carry out high-quality painting and decorating tasks both internally. Strong attention to detail and a professional finish are key. Candidates must hold a valid CSCS card, IPAF and SSSTS or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting (e.g., sanding, filling, priming)
• Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Ensure all work meets health & safety and quality standards
• Work independently or as part of a small team to complete tasks efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator
• Must hold a valid CSCS card
• Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
• Able to work to deadlines with minimal supervision

Location: Goole
Pay: £22.00 – £24 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract Length: 3 weeks (potential to lead to longer)
