Mini Bus Driver – Doncaster Rovers Academy

Treo Recruitment is proud to be supporting Doncaster Rovers Academy in the recruitment of a reliable and enthusiastic Mini Bus Driver to support academy travel, primarily for weekend fixtures.

This is a great opportunity to play a vital behind-the-scenes role within a professional football academy, supporting young players and staff on matchdays.

Pay & Hours

  • Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour, increasing to £12.71 per hour from April
  • Hours: Approximately 6 hours per week, mainly at weekends (matchdays)

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting academy players, staff and equipment to away fixtures and other academy-related travel as required.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Safely transporting players and staff to away venues across the Academy programme
  • Supporting matchday logistics, including assisting with kit and equipment during travel
  • Adhering to all Club transport policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a strong awareness of safeguarding responsibilities when working with minors
  • Maintaining club vehicles, ensuring they are kept clean, tidy and signed in and out at West Reception
  • Reporting any vehicle issues or concerns promptly

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential:

  • Full, clean and valid UK driving licence
  • Experience driving minibuses of up to 16 passengers
  • Experience transporting minors / school-age children
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures

Required or Willing to Complete:

  • FA Safeguarding
  • FA EFAIF (Emergency First Aid in Football)

Experience & Knowledge

  • Previous experience in a similar driving or transport role
  • Understanding of the demands of football and an academy football programme
  • Professional, calm and reliable approach, particularly on matchdays
